About the Program

The Beginner Biking Program is a five-week email series for people who are new to biking or who haven’t ridden in a long time and would like help getting started. Program participants receive one email a week over a five-week period. Each email contains practical information, including tips on sharing the road with cars, planning your route, locking your bike, and even changing a flat tire. You’ll also be encouraged to join BikeArlington’s Bike Forum, where you’ll become part of an engaged community of experienced local bicyclists who can give you the advice and support you need to keep riding!
